Born in America and raised in Memphis, I was surrounded by music at an early age. My parents are both musical and I was lucky enough to also inherit those genes. I started taking piano lessons at the age of eight, and shortly after, I was singing and playing for church services. My mother sang harmonies and my dad sometimes played his recorder. As a teenager, I became more interested in voice and began to take singing lessons. Throughout my studies at Indiana University and later in Germany,  I studied with various professional singers. In 2007, I was selected to sing with the Orlando Opera Chorus in  Die Fledermaus. At the same time I was singing in a dinner show as a leading actresses. In 2008, I moved to Germany with my husband and literally started singing the week I arrived. From church services to weddings to singing with two bands, I slowly got involved in the music scene in my new home and quickly learned German.

Luckily,  music is the universal language that opened doors when my language skills were not so good.  Since then, I've built a repertoire of jazz standards with a pianist, an Indi-folk  set-list with a band, a June Carter & Johnny Cash program, and created my own music with the innovation and support of other talented musicians. In 2018 teamed up with the music school Musica Convivo to offer voice lessons alongside their growing piano school. I'm always buzzing with new ideas and had the idea to developed a new guided city tour entitled "Medieval Musical Tour of Rothenburg ob der Tauber" in 2017. The first tour took place in November 2018 and has been going strong ever since!
